KARACHI, Friday, July 31, 2026: Gold prices rose sharply in Pakistan on Friday, extending their recovery for a second consecutive session as the precious metal gained in the international bullion market.
The price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs3,000 per tola to reach Rs430,436, compared with Rs427,436 on Thursday.
Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs2,572 to Rs369,029, up from the previous day’s price of Rs366,457.
In the international market, gold advanced by $30 per ounce to $4,080, compared with $4,050 on Thursday.

The two-day recovery has taken the price of gold per tola Rs4,000 higher than Wednesday’s level of Rs426,436.
Silver Price in Pakistan Also Rises
Silver moved in opposite directions in international and domestic markets on Friday.
The international price of silver fell by 79 cents per ounce to $58.15. However, local silver prices increased, with the rate per tola rising by Rs79 to Rs6,294.
The price of 10 grams of silver also increased by Rs68 to settle at Rs5,396.
