Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again been urged to apologize to the Bishnoi community, with Lawrence Bishnoi’s cousin Ramesh Bishnoi warning of serious consequences if he fails to do so.
According to Indian media reports, Ramesh Bishnoi made the remarks while speaking to news agency IANS following the shooting incident involving actor Tiger Shroff’s vehicle in Mumbai.
Ramesh claimed that people associated with Salman Khan could also face consequences, while stressing that he was conveying what he described as the gang’s position rather than speaking in a personal capacity.
He said Lawrence Bishnoi had no personal enmity with Salman Khan and claimed that the dispute was instead linked to the alleged hurt caused to the religious sentiments of the Bishnoi community.
According to Ramesh, Salman Khan had previously been given an opportunity to apologize to the community and resolve the matter, but the actor did not do so.
The dispute between Salman Khan and the Bishnoi gang is linked to the 1998 blackbuck hunting case.
Meanwhile, three suspects have reportedly been arrested in connection with the shooting incident involving Tiger Shroff’s vehicle in Mumbai.
