TAXILA, October 12, 2026 — Al-Faiz Foundation has organized a free medical camp at Raja Faiz Plaza, Adda Dhok Badhal, providing medical check-ups and free medicines to hundreds of men and women from Taxila and surrounding villages.
Qualified doctors, including female physicians for women patients, examined visitors and provided medical assistance. Residents from Mohra, Kali Pari Sharif, Dhok Shahu, Dhok Syedan, Maluka, Chokar, Pir Sohaba, Baal and Bora Badhal were among those who benefited from the initiative.
Organizers reported a significant increase in the number of women attending the camp, with many travelling from distant villages to access free healthcare.
Al-Faiz Foundation Chairman Raja Muhammad Afsar could not attend the camp due to illness. On his special instructions, his son, Raja Habib-ur-Rehman, President of Anjuman-e-Tajran Wah Cantt and an executive member of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry, visited the facility.
He was welcomed by Malik Jahangir Hussain, Raja Sajid Mehmood and Malik Zahoor. During his visit, Habib-ur-Rehman inspected different sections of the camp, reviewed the available facilities and spoke with patients about the services being provided.
Patients expressed appreciation for the free medical examinations and medicines, describing the camp as an important source of healthcare for the local community.
Chief Organizer Raja Sajid Mehmood briefed Habib-ur-Rehman on the camp’s operations. He said residents of more than a dozen surrounding villages regularly visit the facility and that the number of female patients had doubled compared with previous attendance levels.
To address the growing demand, the foundation has arranged qualified female doctors to examine women patients and increased the supply of medicines. Mehmood also highlighted the administration’s policy of protecting patients’ privacy by refraining from photographing them.
Habib-ur-Rehman expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and congratulated the organizers. He urged the administration to continue providing quality medical services to underprivileged and deserving patients, adding that the foundation planned to extend the camp’s reach to additional villages.
According to the organizers, Al-Faiz Foundation’s social welfare activities, including its free medical camp, are financed independently by the Raja family without donations from individuals or organizations.
The event concluded with prayers for the forgiveness and elevation of the ranks of deceased members of the administration, particularly Raja Muhammad Faiz.
