ISLAMABAD, November 4, 2026: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Capital Development Authority (CDA) have issued separate notices to Amanullah, a close associate of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, in connection with a financial inquiry and alleged building violations in Islamabad.
Amanullah, who owns the Islamabad residence occupied by Fazlur Rehman, has been summoned by the FIA’s Commercial Banking Circle as authorities pursue inquiries involving individuals associated with the JUI-F leader, according to a report published on Wednesday.
The FIA has directed Amanullah to appear on November 4 to record his statement and produce relevant documentary and digital evidence in connection with the inquiry.
Separately, the CDA has served him a notice over alleged unauthorised construction and encroachments on government land in Islamabad.
The notices come amid scrutiny by different government agencies over allegations of financial irregularities and legal violations involving members of Fazlur Rehman’s family and close associates, the report said.
Several individuals linked to the JUI-F chief’s inner circle have previously faced FIA investigations.
Amanullah owns the property in Sector G-6/4, Street 83, Islamabad, where Fazlur Rehman currently resides.
The FIA’s financial inquiry and the CDA’s action over alleged construction violations are separate proceedings involving the same individual.
