FBR, ICAP hold seminar in Peshawar on Tax Year 2026 returns

PESHAWAR: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), organised a seminar in Peshawar to brief tax professionals on the filing of income tax returns for Tax Year 2026.

The seminar, titled “Filing of Income Tax Return for Tax Year 2026,” was organised by the ICAP Peshawar Office, with the FBR Domain Team delivering a detailed briefing on the return filing process.

The session covered the latest requirements and changes relating to income tax returns, online filing procedures and practical aspects of filing returns for Tax Year 2026.

A large number of chartered accountants and tax practitioners from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa attended the seminar. Participants also engaged with the FBR team during an interactive discussion and raised practical questions regarding various aspects of the return filing process.

The seminar provided tax professionals with an opportunity to clarify issues related to return filing and improve their understanding of the latest tax requirements.

Participants appreciated the initiative, saying that such professional sessions help keep tax practitioners updated on changes in tax procedures and strengthen their capacity to assist taxpayers with accurate and timely return filing.
