ISLAMABAD: A video from Pakistani singer Atif Aslam’s recent concert has gone viral on social media after a fan threw a mobile phone onto the stage while the singer was performing.
In the video, Atif Aslam can be seen singing when several fans appear to throw mobile phones towards the stage. One phone lands near the singer, prompting him to briefly stop his performance and pick it up.
Reacting humorously, Atif Aslam says, “Phone hi phenk diya upar, yeh to toot chuka hoga ab tak” (You threw the phone up; it must have broken by now).
Another fan was also reportedly seen throwing a green dupatta onto the stage, apparently in an attempt to get an autograph.
While throwing personal belongings towards performers is sometimes seen at concerts as a way of seeking an autograph or interaction, such actions can pose a safety risk if objects strike performers.
The video has since attracted attention on social media, with users discussing concert etiquette and the singer’s reaction to the unexpected phone toss.
