Faisal Khan has publicly apologised to his brother Aamir Khan and other family members over past remarks, saying he wants to repair family ties before Aamir Khan’s reported wedding to Gauri Spratt.

The former actor made the comments in an interview with YouTuber Ujjwal Trivedi, according to Indian media reports. He said he regretted making personal family matters public and wanted to move forward with better relations.

Faisal said he first wanted to apologise to his mother and sister Nikhat, adding that he had spoken emotionally about issues that should not have been aired publicly. He also expressed regret over remarks about Nikhat’s husband, Santosh Hegde, and Aamir Khan.

“I realised my mistake,” Faisal said during the interview, adding that he now wants peace in the family and stronger ties with his relatives.

The remarks come ahead of Aamir Khan’s reported wedding to Gauri Spratt. Indian media has reported that the ceremony is expected to be a private family event, with close relatives and friends in attendance.

Faisal also addressed earlier controversy around his mental health, saying he had been examined at a government hospital on court directions and was declared mentally fit. He said he hoped his family would move past earlier misunderstandings and give him a chance to make a fresh start.

Faisal Khan, who appeared in films including Mela, has had a strained public relationship with his family in recent years. His latest comments indicate an attempt to end the dispute and attend his brother’s wedding on better terms.
