London — The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 final will be played between England and Australia on Sunday at Lord’s Cricket Ground after both teams secured dominant wins in the semi-finals.

Australia’s dominant semi-final win
Batting first, West Indies Women posted 125 for 7 after losing the toss and being put in to bat. Australia comfortably chased the target, reaching victory in the 13th over with only two wickets down, securing a place in the final with a clinical performance.
England seal home final spot
In the second semi-final, England Women scored 169 for 5 after being invited to bat first by South Africa. The visitors were restricted to 129 for 8 in their 20 overs, falling short by 40 runs as England secured qualification for the final.
Historic final at Lord’s
The final between England and Australia will be played at Lord’s on Sunday, with strong expectations of a packed crowd. The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) has also urged its members to attend the match to avoid empty seating, referencing criticism faced during the 2017 Women’s World Cup final when sections of the stands remained vacant despite England’s victory.
