SWAT — The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has formally launched the E-Vendor Module under the E-Stamping System in Swat, marking a key step toward improving public convenience, enhancing transparency, and preventing forgery in stamp paper issuance.

The launch was accompanied by the completion of a comprehensive training programme for licensed e-stamp vendors. The session was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office Swat and attended by more than 100 licensed vendors from across the district.

The training was conducted by Board of Revenue Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where Assistant Director E-Stamp Abdul Wahab Burki briefed participants on the operational procedures, technical framework, and security features of the newly introduced E-Vendor Module.

Transparent and secure revenue system

Deputy Commissioner Swat Saleem Jan Marwat formally inaugurated the system, describing it as an important move toward a modern, secure, and transparent revenue mechanism. He said the initiative would ensure timely and authentic service delivery to the public while strengthening government revenue through digital means.

Under the new system, e-stamp papers will be issued on plain white paper and will feature QR code–based verification along with additional security elements to eliminate the risk of forgery and misuse.

Officials said stamp papers valued between Rs.150 and Rs.500 will be issued through PSID-based electronic payments, ensuring traceability and accountability. After system verification and QR code authentication, the e-stamp papers will be valid for all legal, registration, and evidentiary purposes.

The district administration noted that the E-Vendor Module will be extended to other districts of the province in phases. The deputy commissioner also directed relevant officers and vendors to actively raise public awareness about the new e-stamping facility to ensure smooth adoption.

Officials said the initiative aligns with the provincial government’s broader push for digital governance and citizen-focused service delivery.
