LAHORE: Pakistani singer and actor Daniyal Zafar has announced a temporary break from the showbiz industry, citing prolonged work commitments and the impact of his demanding routine on his health.
Daniyal shared the decision with fans through an Instagram Story, saying that he had reached the limits of his endurance after spending the past two years constantly travelling and working.
The singer said balancing acting and music had become increasingly demanding and that the exhausting routine had taken a toll on his health.
According to Daniyal, doctors and his circumstances have advised him to prioritise his health. He said he would therefore suspend his professional activities for some time to focus on recovery.
Daniyal has recently appeared in leading roles in two dramas and was also promoting his upcoming studio album, Storms and Serenity, which was scheduled for release on Saturday.
Following the announcement, fans have expressed their support and wished the singer and actor a speedy recovery.
