Islamabad: Life in Tarnol and surrounding areas is at risk due to harmful and contaminated milk. The Islamabad Sadar Circle Administration, Food Authority, and other relevant departments have turned a blind eye. The sale of substandard and adulterated milk continues in Tarnol and nearby areas, posing severe health risks to the public.
The consumption of this hazardous milk has led to an increase in diseases, stomach issues, and cases of food poisoning among both children and adults. Local residents claim that despite drawing the attention of the Islamabad administration and Food Authority to this serious issue, no action has been taken in response. Milk sellers are reportedly selling low-quality milk at high prices, which allegedly contains water, chemicals, and other harmful substances.
Citizens have demanded immediate action from the Islamabad administration to stop the sale of harmful milk and ensure the supply of quality milk. They have urged authorities to take effective measures and register cases against those endangering human lives. Furthermore, there is a need to raise public awareness about the dangers of consuming adulterated products to encourage people to opt for quality goods.
