KARACHI: Gold prices declined again in Pakistan on Thursday, tracking a fall in the international bullion market after a one-day pause in the downward trend.
In the global market, gold fell by $30 per ounce to $4,161.
The decline was reflected in local bullion markets, where the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs3,000 to Rs438,636.
The price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs2,572, settling at Rs376,059.
Silver prices also moved lower in the international market, with the price per ounce declining by 50 cents to $60.50.
In Pakistan, silver fell by Rs50 per tola to Rs6,528, while the price of 10 grams declined by Rs43 to Rs5,596.
The latest drop comes after a brief pause in the decline and reflects renewed weakness in international precious metal prices.
