INDIA: Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Gupta has died at the age of 57 after reportedly suffering a sudden fall at his home, according to Indian media reports.
Reports said Gupta was walking from one room to another when he fell. His wife and children were asleep in their rooms at the time and reportedly discovered the incident the following morning.
The family rushed him to a hospital after finding him, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
According to media reports citing police, Gupta sustained a head injury in the fall, which led to his death.

Sanjay Gupta was known for directing several notable Bollywood films featuring actor Sanjay Dutt. His prominent works include Kaante (2002), Musafir (2004), Zinda (2006) and Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007).
