November 2, 2026: Apple has announced plans to release the first developer beta of iOS 27.3 this week, bringing several Apple Intelligence features to eligible iPhone users in China for the first time.

According to a statement published on Apple’s Chinese newsroom website, the iOS 27.3 developer beta will become available on Wednesday, November 4, although the release could take place on November 3 in the United States because of time-zone differences.

The company plans to roll out the final version of iOS 27.3 in December, but an exact release date has not been announced.

The update will enable several Apple Intelligence capabilities on the iPhone 15 Pro and newer compatible models in China.

Among the features expected to become available are Writing Tools, Genmoji, Clean Up, Notification Summaries, Priority Notifications and Visual Intelligence.

The update will also introduce Live Translation through compatible AirPods, allowing users to access AI-powered translation capabilities.

However, Apple confirmed that the release will not include its newer AI-powered Siri features or certain additional Apple Intelligence capabilities introduced during the Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2026.

Image Playground, Apple’s AI image-generation feature, will also remain unavailable to users in China.

The upcoming beta marks a significant expansion of Apple Intelligence in the Chinese market, although some advanced AI features will remain excluded from the initial rollout.

Eligible users will be able to explore the supported features through the developer beta before the planned public release in December.
