Bigg Boss 20 is set to premiere on September 6, 2026, with Salman Khan returning as host and speculation continuing over the celebrities, television actors and social media personalities who could enter the reality show’s landmark 20th season.
The complete contestant lineup has yet to be officially announced, but Rhiya Ahir and Punjabi actress and model Lovepreet Kaur, popularly known as Love Gill, are already at the centre of attention. The two are competing for a place in the Bigg Boss house through the show’s “Fans Ka Faisla” initiative, which allows viewers to decide who joins the cast.

Salman Khan introduced the audience-voting format in a recent promotional video, with viewers being asked to choose between Rhiya Ahir and Love Gill. The contestant who receives more votes will earn a place in the Bigg Boss 20 house.
Rhiya Ahir is a Mumbai-based model, actor and entrepreneur. She recently drew widespread attention online after a video showing her standing in front of a police van during a student protest circulated on social media.
Love Gill is a Punjabi actress and model who has worked in television and Punjabi entertainment. Her potential entry into Bigg Boss 20 has also generated interest among viewers.
Several Celebrities Linked to Bigg Boss 20
A number of other well-known personalities have been mentioned in media reports about the upcoming season.
Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi is among the names reportedly being considered, while actress Mouni Roy has also reportedly been approached by the show’s makers. Her participation, however, has not been officially confirmed.
Olympic medallist and six-time world champion boxer Mary Kom has also been linked to the season in reports, although there is currently no official confirmation of her participation.
Actor Rajat Bedi has been strongly linked to the show, while television actor Aman Gandhi, known for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, has also reportedly emerged as a potential contestant.
Other names circulating in media reports include Qazi Touqeer, Khushi Dubey, Kushal Tanwar, Yukti Kapoor, Geeta Basra, Mahhi Vij, Pranali Rathod, Aashay Mishra, Gia Manek, Varun Jain, Karan Patel, Sunil Pal, Shubhangi Atre, Ridhi Dogra, Sanaya Irani, Mohit Sehgal and Showik Chakraborty.
The reported names remain unconfirmed until the show’s makers officially announce the final contestant lineup.
Bigg Boss 20 May Introduce a New Format
Reports also suggest that Bigg Boss 20 could introduce significant changes to its format, including a possible two-house setup. Under the reported concept, some evicted contestants could potentially get another opportunity to return to the competition.
The new season is scheduled to premiere on September 6, with Salman Khan returning as host. According to current reports, the show will stream on JioHotstar at 9 pm and air on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.
With audience voting already underway and numerous personalities being linked to the show, interest is expected to remain high until the official Bigg Boss 20 contestant list is revealed.
