Islamabad: A high-level delegation from the Republic of Belarus, led by Chief of the General Staff and First Deputy Defence Minister Major General Pavel Muraveiko, called on Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf at Naval Headquarters in Islamabad on Friday.
The Belarusian delegation was received by Admiral Naveed Ashraf upon arrival at Naval Headquarters. During the meeting, both sides discussed professional matters of mutual interest, with a particular focus on enhancing bilateral defence collaboration.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf reaffirmed that Pakistan highly values its relationship with Belarus and expressed the country’s desire to develop a long-term, multidimensional partnership across various sectors of defence cooperation.
Major General Pavel Muraveiko appreciated the Pakistan Navy’s continued efforts and commitment to promoting regional maritime security. Both sides also agreed to further strengthen and diversify the existing bilateral defence relationship.
The meeting reflected the shared commitment of Pakistan and Belarus to expanding defence ties and fostering greater cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
