Field Marshal Asim Munir, Kuwait Foreign Minister Discuss Regional Security, Bilateral Cooperation

RAWALPINDI: Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, with the two sides discussing regional security and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

The Kuwaiti foreign minister was accompanied by Kuwait’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nassar Abdul Rahman J. Al-Mutairi, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, regional peace and security, and measures to deepen cooperation between Pakistan and Kuwait.

The visiting foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s support for Kuwait and acknowledged Islamabad’s role in promoting regional peace and stability.

He also highlighted the longstanding fraternal relationship between the two countries.

Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening ties with Kuwait and said both countries shared a common vision for regional peace, stability and prosperity.

The meeting reflected continued diplomatic and security engagement between Pakistan and Kuwait as the two countries seek to expand cooperation across areas of mutual interest.
