Belarus Defence Chief Calls on Pakistan Navy Chief to Boost Bilateral Defence Ties

Islamabad: Chief of the General Staff and First Deputy Defence Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Major General Pavel Muraveiko, called on Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf at Naval Headquarters in Islamabad during an official visit leading a high-level Belarusian delegation.

The visiting dignitary was received by Admiral Naveed Ashraf upon arrival at Naval Headquarters. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on matters of mutual professional interest, with particular emphasis on strengthening bilateral defence collaboration.

Admiral Naveed Ashraf reaffirmed that Pakistan highly values its relationship with Belarus and expressed the country’s commitment to building a long-term, multidimensional partnership based on mutual trust and cooperation.

Major General Pavel Muraveiko commended the Pakistan Navy’s continued efforts and dedication to maintaining regional maritime security. Both sides agreed to further strengthen and diversify the existing bilateral defence relationship through enhanced cooperation.

The meeting underscored the shared commitment of Pakistan and Belarus to expanding defence ties and promoting closer collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
