ISLAMABAD: Baku will host a Parliamentary Meeting as a part of the twenty ninth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Co-prepared via the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the event will welcome 92 delegations from 66 international locations and global agencies, totaling around 330 members, such as 167 parliamentarians, with 12 audio system and deputy speakers. According to AZERTAC news agency, the assembly will cope with subjects such as the influences of weather alternate, the role of parliaments in imposing ambitious climate commitments, improvement of weather financing structures, constructing resilience, equitable processes to climate movement, technological improvements for climate exchange mitigation, health and food protection, and managing climate-related population displacement. A concluding document can be adopted at the quit of the sessions.
