LAHORE: Pakistan batters Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel have moved up the latest ICC Test batting rankings following their individual performances during the three-match series against England.
Pakistan suffered a 3-0 series whitewash, but several batters improved their individual rankings after stronger performances in the final Test at Edgbaston.
Babar Azam climbed two places to 13th after scoring 76 off 103 balls in the second innings of the Edgbaston Test.
Saud Shakeel also moved up two places to 16th. He scored 43 and 29 in the third Test.
Former Pakistan captain Shan Masood made a four-place jump to 37th after scoring 95 in the second innings at Edgbaston.
Pakistan Test debutant Razaullah entered the rankings at 91st after an impressive 81 off 63 balls in the second innings. His innings included nine sixes and four fours.
Other Pakistan Batters
Abdullah Shafique dropped 11 places to 46th, while Mohammad Rizwan slipped one place to 34th.
Salman Ali Agha also fell one position and now sits at 44th in the latest Test batting rankings.
The latest rankings reflect the individual performances of Pakistan’s batters during the England series, despite the team ending the campaign without a Test victory.
