KARACHI – A key development was reported on Monday in the facilitation case linked to alleged drug dealer Anmol alias Pinky, as police presented two accused individuals before a court in Karachi during ongoing proceedings.

The case was heard by a judicial magistrate in South Karachi, where accused Aqib and Ghulam Mustafa were produced in court in connection with cases registered at Garden and Boat Basin police stations. The court later sent both individuals to jail on judicial remand.

The proceedings are part of a wider investigation involving multiple cases against Anmol alias Pinky, where authorities are also handling the submission of a final charge sheet and related legal applications.

Ongoing legal process

Earlier hearings had directed police to submit a complete challan after administrative delays, while the court also reserved its decision on applications related to the removal of names of co-accused and call record requests.

Further proceedings in the case are expected to continue as investigations progress.
