Two suspects associated with the notorious ‘Pinky’ drug gang have been handed over to police on a two-day physical remand, a court hearing revealed on June 19, 2026.
The suspects, Aqib and Ghulam Abbas, were presented before Judicial Magistrate Naeem Akhtar in a South Zone court in a narcotics case filed against fugitive Anmol, also known as “Pinky.” Police also submitted three sealed packets of narcotics as evidence.
Court proceedings
The court inquired why Anmol “Pinky” had not been apprehended yet. The investigating officer stated that her arrest had not been made under this case so far. The court directed that Aqib and Ghulam Abbas be processed for criminal records, while Pinky’s arrest should be coordinated with proper permissions.
Although police requested a 10-day remand, the court granted a 2-day physical remand and asked the investigating officer to submit a progress report in the next hearing.
Police details
According to South Zone police, both suspects were arrested the previous day. They reportedly worked as riders for the Pinky gang, involved in online drug delivery operations. Both Aqib and Ghulam Mustafa were handed over to the Boot Basin Police Station for further investigation.
