Pakistani actress Amina Malik has clarified her earlier remarks about the alleged presence of jinn in her home, saying she does not have any jinn and asking people to stop spreading misconceptions about her.

In a video shared on Instagram, Malik explained that she had discussed a past experience during her appearance on Geo News’ programme Hansna Mana Hai, hosted by Tabish Hashmi.

She said she had mentioned that money and other belongings once started disappearing. Based on what she had heard, she suggested that mischievous jinn children might be responsible for such incidents and could return missing items when asked.

Malik said her remarks went viral, prompting her to repeatedly clarify that she did not have any jinn in her home. She also said she had personally contacted a website to request the removal of a post making that claim.

The actress added that people had been contacting her on social media with requests to help arrange marriages or recover lost belongings, while others accused her of practising shirk or being a witch.

Urging people not to criticise her without understanding the context, Malik reiterated that she had no jinn in her home.
