Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan once again captured attention at Paris Fashion Week with a dramatic and regal appearance at the L’Oréal Paris fashion show on September 28.
The actress walked the runway at the Eiffel Show, held against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower and École Militaire, bringing a striking combination of classic elegance and modern styling to the event.
Aishwarya closed the L’Oréal Paris show in a custom velvet creation by Syrian luxury fashion label Yara Shoemaker. The fitted floor-length gown featured a plunging neckline and defined waist, while a crystal-embellished cape added a dramatic touch to the ensemble.
She completed the look with a diamond-studded crown, reinforcing the regal theme of her appearance.
However, it was Aishwarya’s new burgundy-red hair that drew particularly strong attention. Styled in soft waves with a side parting, the new hair colour gave her signature look a contemporary edge.
Her makeup featured winged eyeliner, defined brows, rosy cheeks and bold red lipstick. Celebrity stylist Mohit Rai styled the overall appearance, pairing the gown and cape with diamond rings and pumps.
The Paris Fashion Week event also brought together several international celebrities, including Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, Simone Ashley, Celine Dion, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, Cara Delevingne and Andie MacDowell.
Ahead of the show, Aishwarya was seen sharing a warm moment with Simone Ashley during rehearsals. A video of the two actresses talking and holding hands circulated widely on social media.
Aishwarya also reunited with longtime friend Eva Longoria backstage, with photos and videos of their meeting adding another memorable moment to the event.
Her Paris Fashion Week appearance comes months after her much-discussed presence at the Cannes Film Festival. Aishwarya has maintained a long association with international fashion and cinema, having made her Cannes debut with Devdas in 2002 and serving on the festival’s feature-film jury the following year.
