During her first day in office, DC Qandeel Fatima Memon reaffirmed that district development and welfare projects would continue without interruption. She said that resolving public problems and improving institutional performance are her top priorities. In addition, she identified health, education, and cleanliness as the main focus areas for sustainable community improvement.

To strengthen administration at the grassroots level, she directed Assistant Commissioners in all tehsils to meet petitioners during office hours and ensure timely resolution of issues. She urged them to stay available to the public and take swift action on complaints.

Moreover, she emphasized the need to monitor the performance of subordinate staff regularly. She warned that negligence or delays in resolving citizens’ issues would not be tolerated.

She also stressed that providing relief to the people is a collective responsibility of both the government and its institutions. Every department, she added, must fulfill its duties with urgency, transparency, and accountability.

With this proactive approach and clear direction, DC Qandeel Fatima Memon has set a firm tone for effective administration and responsive governance in Rahim Yar Khan.
