74-year-old Karachi man Naseemuddin sets third Guinness World Record

Karachi, March 25: A 74-year-old Karachi resident, Naseemuddin, has set his third Guinness World Record for Pakistan by breaking 38 marble tiles using an egg held in his hand, according to confirmation from Guinness World Records.

The achievement surpasses the previous record of 30 tiles and has been officially verified, with confirmation received via email and the record updated on the Guinness World Records website. Naseemuddin, a welder from Shah Faisal Colony, is also recognised as one of the oldest individuals in his profession in the city.

Multiple records and family achievements

This marks Naseemuddin’s third entry into the global record books. He previously set records for breaking 163 walnuts with a hammer and crushing an apple with one hand.

His family is also associated with multiple record achievements. His son, Rashid Naseem, is known for holding the highest number of Guinness World Records for Pakistan, while other family members, including his grandchildren and daughter-in-law, have also secured international records.

Dedication of record

Naseemuddin dedicated his latest achievement to the Pakistan Army and said it was for people who take pride in the country’s global recognition. He noted that continuing to achieve such milestones at the age of 74 reflects his commitment to representing Pakistan internationally.
