3-Year-Old Girl Murder Case in Karachi Shocks City After Postmortem Report Reveals Disturbing Findings

A postmortem report of three-year-old Kulsoom, who was found murdered in Karachi’s Qaidabad area, has revealed disturbing findings, according to police and medical officials. The case has prompted an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Authorities said the postmortem examination confirmed signs consistent with sexual assault. Karachi police surgeon Dr. Samia stated that multiple samples have been preserved for chemical analysis, and the final cause of death will be determined once laboratory reports are completed.

The case was registered at Qaidabad police station on the complaint of the victim’s father, Muhammad Qasim, under sections related to kidnapping, sexual assault, and murder against unidentified suspects.

According to the FIR, the child had gone outside to play in the evening but did not return home. Family members searched for her before being informed by neighbours that her body had been discovered in the locality and later taken to Social Security Hospital.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and efforts are being made to identify those responsible. Officials added that all forensic evidence will be used to establish the sequence of events leading to the child’s death.

The incident has sparked widespread concern in the area, with residents calling for swift action and improved child safety measures.
