Pakistani actress Zoya Nasir has disagreed with actor and singer Mohsin Abbas Haider’s recent remarks regarding alleged drug use on drama sets, saying she has never witnessed such behavior in her career.

In a recent interview, Zoya Nasir, daughter of renowned writer Nasir Adeeb, spoke about her professional journey, fitness routine, and working environment in the entertainment industry. During the conversation, she was asked about Mohsin Abbas Haider’s claim that he had seen artists and directors arriving on set under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

“I have never seen anything like that,” says Zoya

Mohsin Abbas Haider had earlier stated in a TV program that, on some occasions, he observed performers in a heavily intoxicated state, affecting their ability to perform, and that he had even raised concerns with producers.

However, Zoya Nasir dismissed the claim based on her own experience, saying she has never come across such incidents in her work. She said most sets maintain a professional environment where actors take their responsibilities seriously.

“I’ve seen people praying on set,” she adds

Zoya further said that, in her experience, she has seen people offering prayers on set and maintaining religious practices during work. She added that if someone arrives late, it is usually due to long shooting schedules rather than any substance-related issue.

She concluded that she has always experienced a positive and professional atmosphere across all her projects and has never seen any co-actor working under the influence.
