KARACHI, September 30, 2026: Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas has opened up about her career and family, saying that her aunt and veteran actress Bushra Ansari never financially supported her professional journey.
Speaking in an interview, Zara said that her connection to a well-known family name did not automatically mean producers or investors would be willing to put money into her projects.
“Why would anyone invest Rs4 million in me just because I am Bushra Ansari’s niece?” she said, explaining that investors ultimately expect returns on their money.
Zara also said that actor Adnan Siddiqui had never provided her with professional support, while her husband, actor Asad Siddiqui, had been a strong source of encouragement.
She added that she and Asad would soon be leaving to begin shooting for their upcoming film.
Discussing another aspect of her life, Zara spoke about riding a motorcycle without wearing a helmet and said that she was not issued a ticket despite the violation.
She also highlighted her family’s connection with music, saying that several members of her family have a passion for singing. According to Zara, her brother is a singer, her mother sings, and Bushra Ansari also has a background in music.
Zara further said that the government had recognized the need to improve Pakistan’s film industry and that music and songs can play an important role in the success of films.
