Youth Empowerment Camp Cleanliness Drive Held at Babusar Top

MARDAN: The Youth Development Alliance organised a three-day Youth Empowerment Camp in Batakundi, Naran, bringing together around 30 young participants for training on public policy, responsible social media use, volunteerism and community service.

The camp was held in collaboration with the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and aimed to equip young people with practical knowledge to address social and environmental challenges.

Workshops Focus on Youth Policy and Social Responsibility

Participants attended interactive workshops and learning sessions covering the Youth Policy 2026, the positive use of social media, the importance of volunteer work and practical ways to respond to current social issues.

The Youth Empowerment Camp in Naran also featured educational activities, group discussions and competitions designed to encourage teamwork, leadership and active participation.

Organisers said the sessions helped participants better understand their role in community development and responsible civic engagement.

Cleanliness Drive Held at Babusar Top

Environmental sustainability was another major focus of the camp.

Participants took part in a cleanliness drive at Babusar Top, where they collected waste and contributed to efforts aimed at protecting the area’s natural environment.

The activity was organised to promote climate change awareness and demonstrate how young people can support environmental protection through practical action.

The Youth Development Alliance acknowledged the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for its support in organising the initiative.

Organisers said they hoped to continue the partnership through future programmes focused on youth development, volunteerism and community service.
