MARDAN: Water and Sanitation Services Company Mardan (WSSCM) organized a special ceremony to recognize the services of management staff who played a key role in the successful Eidul Adha cleanliness operation across Mardan city.

Speaking on the occasion, Engineer Adil Nawaz praised the dedication and hard work of employees who showed exceptional performance during the sanitation campaign.

He said effective planning and improved strategies helped ensure better cleanliness arrangements during Eidul Adha this year. He also thanked the provincial government for its support.

Adil Nawaz announced that WSSCM would implement a formal system of accountability, transparency and performance management within the organization.

He said officers and employees showing outstanding performance would be recognized through appreciation certificates and other incentives. However, staff members found negligent or performing poorly would face disciplinary action under rules and regulations, including salary deductions where applicable.

He said WSSCM was making every effort to improve sanitation services despite limited resources and a shortage of staff. Adil Nawaz also expressed special gratitude to the Provincial Minister for Local Government and the Secretary Local Government for allocating a dedicated budget for the Eid cleanliness operation.

The chief executive officer reiterated that providing citizens with quality and timely services remains WSSCM’s top priority.

He urged officers and employees to perform their duties with honesty, commitment and responsibility so that the vision of making Mardan a clean, green and model city could become a reality.
