Threats targeting Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan’s Mumbai residence and Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh’s upcoming concert have prompted authorities in India to tighten security.
According to Gulf News, a threatening email mentioned Amitabh Bachchan’s Mumbai bungalow and referred to a possible attack on October 31. The email also reportedly warned of an attack on Diljit Dosanjh’s concert scheduled for November 27.
The threatening message also mentioned the Mumbai Mayor’s office and schools, raising security concerns at multiple locations.
Security Concerns Grow Around Indian Celebrities
The latest threats come amid a series of security incidents involving Indian entertainment personalities.
A few days earlier, Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff reportedly narrowly escaped an attempted attack. Before that, gunfire was reported outside actor Salman Khan’s residence.
Authorities have tightened security following the latest threats.
