PESHAWAR: A two-week professional makeup training programme for women from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including the merged districts, has concluded in Peshawar, with participants receiving certificates after completing the vocational course.
Organised by the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the programme focused on developing practical skills that can help women pursue entrepreneurship and self-employment. Women from different parts of the province, particularly District Khyber, took part in the training.
Officials encourage women to pursue vocational skills
Assistant Director Budget and Accounts at the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Rooh-ul-Amin, attended the closing ceremony and congratulated the participants.
He encouraged women, particularly those from the merged districts, to acquire vocational skills and explore opportunities for entrepreneurship and self-employment.
Rooh-ul-Amin said employment-oriented training programmes can help strengthen women’s financial independence and enable them to contribute more effectively to the development of their communities and the wider region.
Seharish Khan attends closing ceremony
Showbiz personality Seharish Khan attended the ceremony as chief guest and praised the quality of the training.
She said professional training programmes can help identify and develop women’s potential while providing them with practical skills that may enable them to establish their own businesses.
The programme concluded with the distribution of certificates among women who successfully completed the professional makeup training.
