Islamabad: Expelled PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat has now raised the famous slogan, “Mujhe Kyun Nikala?” (Why was I expelled?).
During the National Assembly session, instead of entering through the opposition gate, Sher Afzal Marwat used the government gate to enter the house. His arrival was met with desk-thumping by government members, prompting the Speaker of the National Assembly to humorously caution them, saying, “Don’t get him in trouble!”
During the question-hour session, when the Speaker invited a supplementary question regarding the merger of mobile companies, Sher Afzal Marwat responded, “My only question right now is to my own people—why was I expelled?”
His brief point of order triggered laughter among government members, while PTI members remained silent.
Looking towards Barrister Gohar, Marwat turned to the government benches and urged, “You should also support me.” This led government members to chant slogans like “Why was Marwat expelled? Oppressors, give an answer! Give Marwat justice!”
During the session, PML-N member Hanif Abbasi lightheartedly reassured Marwat, saying, “We are with you; we will send you back to PTI.”
