Shah Rukh Khan Reveals the Emotional Reason Behind His Acting Career
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan once revealed that he had little interest in working in films, but his mother’s wish ultimately influenced his decision to become an actor.
An old interview from 1991 has resurfaced, in which the actor discussed the circumstances that led him to enter the film industry.
According to Khan, he was not particularly impressed by the film industry. However, following the death of his mother, Lateef Fatima Khan, he reconsidered his decision.
The actor explained that his mother had always wanted to see him on the big screen, motivating him to pursue a career in films to fulfil her wish.
Khan also recalled feeling that it might already be too late for him to enter the film industry, but he ultimately decided to follow the path his mother had hoped for him.
Shah Rukh Khan made his Bollywood film debut with Deewana in 1992 and went on to become one of Indian cinema’s most recognisable stars.
