Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has shared a humorous incident involving legendary star Amitabh Bachchan, recalling how an overwhelmed household employee accidentally spilled four glasses of water on Bachchan’s kurta.
Akshay recounted the amusing story during Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18, where he appeared alongside actor Saif Ali Khan and filmmaker Priyadarshan to promote their film.
Employee Became Nervous After Seeing Amitabh Bachchan
Akshay, 58, said that when he lived in Mumbai’s Lokhandwala area, Amitabh Bachchan once visited his home.
According to Akshay, one of his household employees was a huge fan of Bachchan and became extremely nervous when he came face-to-face with the legendary actor.
The employee was carrying a glass of water when, according to Akshay, he became so overwhelmed that he apparently lost focus and accidentally spilled the water over Bachchan.
Four Glasses of Water Spilled on His Kurta
Akshay recalled that three or four glasses of water had been placed there, but the employee’s nervousness resulted in the glasses being knocked over and their contents spilling onto Amitabh Bachchan’s kurta.
Akshay said he immediately began wondering what would happen next.
The incident, however, ended on a lighter note. When Akshay narrated the story on the show, Amitabh Bachchan and the other people present reportedly burst into laughter.
