WASA has allocated 180 points in 11 neighborhood councils of four union councils in Abbottabad city to collect gothe feces of sacrificial animals on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. It has decided to cancel the leaves of the staff and complete the cleaning operation within 24 hours. In this regard, WASA Abbottabad organized an awareness seminar on the importance of cleanliness and water in a private wedding hall. The special guests were Hazara preacher Mufti Hameed-ur-Rehman Qureshi, Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Captain (retd) Sanaullah Khan, Chairman WASA Sajid Khan Jadoon, Chief Executive Officer Engineer Rehan Khan, Spokesperson Umar Khan Swati, President High Court Bar Khurram Ghiyas Khan Advocate, President All Traders Federation Malik Naeem Awan, Mufti Jafar Tayyar Maqbool Awan, President Awami Ittehad Kamran Ahmed Advocate, Ulema, municipal members and a large number of women also participated in the cleaning operation on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

Regarding this, the participants were informed in a multimedia briefing that in addition to the existing filth depots in the four union councils of Abbottabad, Malikpura, Kehal, Urban City and Nawanshahr, new points have been allocated and banners have also been displayed and citizens have been provided with biodegradable strong bags for sacrificial animals. Chairman WASA Sajid Khan said that the leaves of the staff have been canceled and the staff will perform their duties with great diligence for the three days of Eid. And the complaint cell will remain open during Eid. He appealed to the citizens to keep the sacrificial animals in the places designated by WASA instead of throwing them in their streets, drains, roads and paths and to fully cooperate with WASA. Deputy Commissioner Captain (retd) Sanaullah Khan appreciated the plan by WASA and emphasized that the administration cannot achieve its goals without the cooperation of the people. In the meeting of all departments of the district administration, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha They have been given instructions on providing other facilities including tourists. The special guest, Hazara preacher Mufti Hameed-ur-Rehman Qureshi, while giving awareness on the importance of cleanliness and water according to the Islamic point of view, said that cleanliness was not practiced today but 1450 years ago. Unless we change ourselves, society will never change. We need to take the form of a perfect Muslim society.

Today, it is a matter of great misfortune that there is a lack of cleanliness in society. The door of every house and the corner of the street are full of dirt. It is as if we have also passed through the era of ignorance. He said that Islam has given the concept of cleanliness, sophistication and purity. In this regard, scholars will pay special attention to this important issue in Friday gatherings and Eid prayers and people will be made aware of the importance of water and cleanliness. Meanwhile, the participants paid tribute to WASA for completing the operation during Eid last year with diligence.
