University of Swat community rejoices as Mr. Faheem, faculty member in the Department of Psychological Studies, has successfully defended his PhD research at the Department of Psychology, University of Peshawar.
Under the expert supervision of Professor Dr. Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan, Dr. Faheem’s research focused on reduction of mental health issues, depression, suicidal ideation, and substance abuse through “Spiritual Intelligence, Resilience, and Bonding to God: Towards an Eclectic Model of Psychospiritual Interventions”. His external examiners were Dr. Kari T. Ellingson (USA), Prof. Dr. Rubina Hanif (Director, National Institute of Psychology, Quaid i Azam University) and Prof. Dr. Amina Muazzam (Chairperson, Dept of Psychology, Lahore College for Women University)
