UCP Unveils Renovated Lobby, Corridors at Media Faculty in Lahore

LAHORE: The University of Central Punjab (UCP) has unveiled renovated spaces at its Faculty of Media and Mass Communication, including the lobby, corridors and seminar rooms, along with a newly established photo gallery.

UCP Pro-Rector Dr. Hammad Naveed, Provost Muhammad Yaqoob, Director Administration Amjad Niaz and Dean Faculty of Media Dr. Fawad Baig formally inaugurated the renovated facilities during a ceremony held at the faculty.

The event was attended by Head of Department Dr. Atif Ashraf, faculty members, Head of UCP TV Irfan Aslam and members of the university’s Radio and TV teams.

Dr. Hammad Naveed inaugurated the renovated lobby by cutting the ribbon and also cut a cake to mark the occasion. He subsequently visited the newly established Photo Gallery in the Media Corridor and reviewed the displays.

Dr. Fawad Baig briefed the Pro-Rector about the photographs and paintings displayed in the gallery. The collection features a range of fields and themes related to media and communication, including film, television, theatre and advertising.

Dr. Hammad Naveed appreciated the efforts of the Dean and the Faculty of Media team in improving the academic and creative environment of the faculty.

He congratulated the team on its work and contribution towards enhancing the faculty’s environment and facilities.

The visit concluded with a group photograph of the Pro-Rector, Provost and faculty members.
