KASUR: Two Pakistani civilians were killed and another injured in alleged firing by India’s Border Security Force (BSF) near the Pakistan-India international border in Kasur, security sources said.
According to the sources, three local residents from Ladhar village were near a border pillar when BSF personnel allegedly opened fire on them without warning.
The firing left two men dead and a third wounded. Security sources said all three were unarmed.

The deceased were identified as Azmat Rasool, son of Attaullah, and Mohsin Jutt, both residents of Jattan Wali Haveli, Ladhar.
Security sources said the three men had not attempted to cross the border fence.

They further alleged that Indian media described the civilians as infiltrators, while maintaining that none of the three had tried to breach the border fence.
The incident has also been described by security sources as a violation of border agreements and standard operating procedures governing conduct along the international boundary.
Further details about the injured man’s condition and any official response from Indian authorities were not included in the information provided.
