ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Minister for Revenue and Estate Tariq Mehmood Aryani met Saleha Tana, Country Head of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency, in Islamabad to discuss development projects in Mardan.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed ongoing initiatives and explored further cooperation in education, healthcare, clean drinking water and other public-service sectors.

Tana assured the minister of TIKA’s continued support for development projects aimed at improving essential services for local communities.

Particular attention was given to proposed water filtration plants at Mardan Jail, Mardan Medical Complex and the District Headquarters Hospital.

The two officials also discussed cooperation on additional departmental projects, although further details were not disclosed.

Aryani appreciated TIKA’s assistance and said coordinated efforts between the provincial government and development partners were important for delivering sustainable public-welfare projects.

The meeting reflects continuing cooperation between Pakistan and Türkiye in social development, infrastructure and community-focused initiatives.
