Three Suspects Detained in Targeted Killing Case of Female TikToker in Rawalpindi
RAWALPINDI: Police have detained three suspected individuals in connection with the targeted killing of TikToker Shamsu Bibi, also known as Ayesha, in Taxila.
According to investigation sources, a special team of Rawalpindi Police detained the suspects from areas in Taxila, Attock and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The individuals are reportedly close relatives of the nominated absconding suspects identified as Kashi, Kausar and Javed.
Sources said the detained individuals were allegedly in contact with the nominated suspects. Police are investigating their possible links to the case.
Investigators have also conducted geofencing of the crime scene. According to preliminary findings, the mobile phones of the nominated suspects did not show their presence at the location of the shooting. Their mobile locations were reportedly recorded in Murree around the time of the incident.
Police sources said the homes of the nominated suspects have remained locked since the TikToker’s killing.
The mobile phone belonging to the deceased has also been sent for forensic examination as investigators continue to gather evidence.
The case remains under investigation, while police are working to determine the whereabouts and possible involvement of the nominated suspects.
