Abbottabad – The appointment of Tahir Khan Tanoli as Chairman of the Pakistan Peace Council for Interfaith Harmony Hazara Division has been confirmed. In a meeting of district and tehsil officials of Abbottabad, Mansehra and Haripur, a resolution was approved, retaining Tehsil Lower Tanoli Chairman Nazar Muhammad Awan in office and the cabinet of Tehsil Lower Tanoli was also sworn in. The meeting also expressed confidence in District Chairman Sardar Abdul Rashid and his entire cabinet. In this regard, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Division Chairman Tahir Khan Tanoli at a ceremony held at a private hotel in Abbottabad, in which Chief Organizer Abbottabad Anwardad Satti, Chief Coordinator Hazara Division Muhammad Wadood, Vice Chairman Hazara Zahid Zulfiqar, Sangin Khan Jadoon Spokesperson Hazara, Asfandyar Malik General Secretary Hazara, Jamal Khan Coordinator, Munir Hassan Deputy Secretary Hazara, Dr. Riaz Tanoli Organizer Hazara, Rafi Sultan Vice Chairman Abbottabad Ali Asghar Tanoli, District Chairman Mansehra Wasim Khan Swati, Chief Organizer Mansehra Muhammad Hafeez Satti, Chairman Lower Tanov Tehsil Nazar Muhammad Awan and other office bearers were also present. On this occasion, a resolution was passed by an overwhelming majority to ratify the posts of Divisional Chairman Tahir Khan Tanoli and Chairman Lower Tanov Tehsil Nazar Muhammad Awan. Addressing the meeting, Divisional Chairman Tahir Khan Tanoli said that the Peace Council is a completely non-political platform and the duties of all its members include that they will only make efforts for the welfare of the country and establishment of peace. He said that for the development and prosperity of the country, it is indispensable to eliminate hatred and acknowledge the services of the country’s institutions. He expressed his determination that he will utilize his capabilities according to the manifesto of the Peace Council. He also administered the oath to the new office bearers of Lower Tanov Tehsil and congratulated them.
