QUETTA: A suspect wanted in connection with the acid attack on a woman doctor at Civil Hospital Quetta was killed during an alleged police encounter, authorities said on Friday.
According to police, the suspect, identified as Humayun Shah, was wanted in the case involving the attack on the doctor and was being sought by law enforcement agencies. The incident is considered a significant development in the ongoing investigation.
Police said an exchange of fire took place near Nushki Bus Stop when officers attempted to apprehend the suspect. During the reported encounter, Humayun Shah was killed.
