Sindh announces result dates for matric and intermediate examinations

KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced the schedule for the release of matric and intermediate examination results across the province, providing students with a timeline for admissions to higher educational institutions.

Under the approved schedule, matriculation results will be announced by July 10, while intermediate results will be released by July 31. The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Muhammad Ismail Rahoo.

The meeting was attended by Secretary Universities Muhammad Abbas Baloch and chairpersons of educational boards from across Sindh. Participants reviewed the conduct of annual matric and intermediate examinations held throughout the province.

Results schedule finalized

According to the decisions taken during the meeting, all educational boards in Sindh will ensure the release of matric results by July 10 and intermediate results by July 31.

Officials said the timeline is intended to help students complete admission processes for colleges and universities without unnecessary delays.

Class 9 and 11 results due by August 31

Board officials also informed the meeting that results for Class 9 and Class 11 examinations will be announced by August 31.

During the briefing, authorities reported that examination-related monitoring measures had been implemented in different divisions. Officials noted that duties of teams showing poor performance during examinations in Sukkur Division had been canceled.

Secretary Universities Muhammad Abbas Baloch also informed the meeting that several cases were registered in Karachi over alleged violations of Section 144 during the examination period.

Meanwhile, Karachi Board Chairman Faqeer Muhammad Lakho said intermediate examinations in Karachi are scheduled to conclude on June 15.

The Sindh government said it will continue supporting educational boards to improve transparency, merit and efficiency in the examination system.
