PESHAWAR: The Small Industries Development Board (SIDB) marked Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with a flag-hoisting ceremony, cake-cutting and a patriotic march at the Small Industrial Estate in Peshawar.
SIDB employees and industrialists from SIE Peshawar joined the celebrations, which were held with a strong sense of national pride and unity.
The programme began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony.
Patriotic March Held at Industrial Estate
As part of the Independence Day activities, SIDB employees and local industrialists took part in a march through the Industrial Estate.
Participants carried the spirit of the national day through the estate, highlighting themes of freedom, unity and national solidarity.
Organisers said the participation of employees and members of the industrial community reflected a shared commitment to Pakistan’s progress and prosperity.
The celebrations concluded with special prayers for the country’s peace, stability, development and continued prosperity.
