Former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, also known as Rawalpindi Express, has made his prediction for the semi-finalists of the upcoming Champions Trophy. According to Akhtar, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and India are likely to make it to the semi-finals.
Akhtar believes that if Afghanistan demonstrates maturity, they could make it to the semi-finals. He added that if the Afghan batsmen show patience, they could surprise many with their results.
He expressed hope that Pakistan would defeat India on February 23, and he feels both Pakistan and India should play in the final. He stated that if Pakistan defeats both India and New Zealand, they will have already won half of the tournament.
Akhtar also congratulated the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the upgrade of Qaddafi Stadium and urged fans to support the national team in the Champions Trophy. He suggested that there should be no more questions about the team selection.
