Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly regained full ownership of his family’s ancestral home in New Delhi after purchasing the remaining portions of the property in a deal valued at around ₹370 million (37 crore). The residence, located in the upscale Panchsheel Park neighborhood, holds personal significance for Shah Rukh Khan and his wife, Gauri Khan.

According to Indian media reports, the couple purchased the second and third floors of the building, bringing the entire property back under the family’s ownership. The basement and ground floor were already owned by the Khan family.

Property Holds Emotional Value

The house is closely linked to Shah Rukh Khan’s early life. Before moving to Mumbai to pursue his acting career, he and Gauri Khan lived at the Delhi residence, making the property an important part of their personal history.

The property is spread across approximately 1,200 square yards, or about 10,800 square feet, in one of South Delhi’s most sought-after residential areas. Reports estimate the transaction value at nearly ₹370 million.

One of Delhi’s Notable Celebrity Property Deals

Real estate experts have described the purchase as one of Delhi’s most significant celebrity property transactions in recent years. The acquisition further expands Shah Rukh Khan’s real estate portfolio, which includes luxury properties in Mumbai, Dubai, and other locations.

In addition to his real estate investments, Shah Rukh Khan has business interests through his production company and lifestyle brand D’YAVOL. Gauri Khan, a well-known interior designer, has also played a leading role in designing and renovating several of the family’s residences.
