TIMERGARA: A Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ conference was held at Government Postgraduate College Timergara under the auspices of the Departments of Arabic and Islamic Studies, with enthusiastic participation from male and female students.
The conference featured Quranic recitations and Naats in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, creating a spiritual atmosphere among participants.
Chief guest Maulana Ehsanullah Khalis, Principal Professor Shujaat Ali, Professor Naseer-ul-Haq, Professor Ehsanullah and Professor Saeed-ur-Rehman addressed the gathering and spoke about the life, teachings and exemplary character of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The speakers said the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ provide guidance for humanity and stressed the importance of incorporating his teachings into everyday life.
They expressed concern that some young people are not sufficiently familiar with the Seerah and teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. The speakers urged students to study the Seerah and reflect its principles in their personal, social and professional conduct.
They emphasized that adopting the Prophet’s ﷺ example in matters of character, morality, dealings and social behaviour can promote harmony and better conduct in society while guiding individuals toward success in this world and the Hereafter.
At the conclusion of the conference, prizes and awards were distributed among male and female students who secured prominent positions in Quranic and Naat recitation competitions.
The speakers congratulated the participating students and encouraged them to make the teachings of the Seerah an integral part of their lives.
