Security forces are continuing operations across several areas of Balochistan following a series of militant attacks, with officials saying dozens of suspected militants have been killed in follow-up actions, according to security sources.
The operations were launched after coordinated assaults attributed by officials to a banned militant group. Security sources said that, so far, 58 suspected militants have been killed during clearance and pursuit operations carried out at multiple locations in the province.

According to the same sources, 10 personnel from the security forces and police were martyred in the attacks. In addition, five members of a labourer family from Khuzdar—including a woman and three children—were killed in an incident in Gwadar.
Security officials said search and pursuit operations remain ongoing, supported by aerial surveillance, to locate any remaining suspects and prevent further attacks.
The incidents come amid heightened security concerns in Balochistan, where authorities say they are working to restore stability and protect civilians. Security sources also alleged that certain external media and online platforms amplified narratives supportive of the militant group, a claim that could not be independently verified.
Authorities said further details would be shared as operations progress.
